Changed Wells Fargo: offer end date on both checking bonuses

Wells Fargo extended both checking offers from October 13, 2026 to January 13, 2027: $325 on Everyday Checking for $1,000 or more in qualifying electronic deposits within 90 days, and $125 on Clear Access Banking for 10 or more qualifying posted transactions within 60 days. The requirements are unchanged. The payout sentence was reworded between our October 12 and October 15 readings.

• Before: “Limited Time Offer: ends October 13, 2026” on the $325 page; both sets of terms said open “by October 13, 2026”. Payout clause: “Your new account must stay open through the time we attempt to deposit the bonus.”
• Now: “Limited Time Offer: ends January 13, 2027” on the $325 page and “Offer ends January 13, 2027” on the $125 page; both sets of terms say open “by January 13, 2027”. Payout clause: “To receive this bonus, the enrolled account must not be closed or restricted at the time of payout.”

Changed Audible: end date of the Prime member banner offer

The Prime member banner on Audible’s trial page, $0.99 a month for 4 months plus a $20 credit, outlived the October 7, 2026 end date Amazon printed in September. On October 15 the banner was still up and Amazon’s own Audible page gave a new end date of October 19, 2026, with the $20 credit expiring November 30, 2026. The 30-day free trial itself is unchanged.

• Before: “Auto-renews at $8.99/mo after 4 months. Offer ends October 7, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.”

Changed Spectrum: every public residential Refer a Friend page

Checked again in a browser on October 3, 2026, Spectrum's Refer a Friend help article was still gone and no other public Spectrum page states a residential referral credit, so the guide now lists the $50 first-bill credit as unconfirmed.

• Before: On October 2, 2026 the help article returned Page Not Found, and the guide still listed $50 off a new customer's first bill (as the article read on September 25, 2026), with a warning to confirm it first.
• Now: The help article redirects to a Page Not Found page, spectrum.com/refer-a-friend is a 404 error page, and a search of spectrum.net and spectrum.com finds only the Spectrum Business Referral Program, for business professionals. The guide's value is now Unconfirmed.

Changed AG1: What a new customer gets through a member's Refer a Friend link

AG1's 1 Club membership page now carries a Refer a Friend card that puts $15 on the new customer's side of a member's link. The card names no condition such as a first order or minimum, and AG1's Refer-a-Friend terms, last updated Oct 1, 2026, still name no reward for the new customer.

Upside removed PayPal as a cash-out option from all remaining accounts on August 14, 2026.

Changed Planet Fitness: Cancellation notice deadlines

Planet Fitness now needs your notice at least 8 days before your next billing date, and at least 8 days before the annual fee date, instead of fixed days of the month.

• Before: Notice had to reach the club by the 10th to stop the payment billed on the 17th, and by the 25th of the month before the annual fee date.
• Now: Notice must reach the club at least 8 days before your next billing date, and at least 8 days before the annual fee date. The $58 buyout fee for a minimum-term membership is unchanged.

Changed Adobe Creative Cloud: Cancellation charge in California

Adobe's US terms, effective August 1, 2026, charge California customers 30% of their annual commitment to leave an annual plan billed monthly after 14 days.

• Before: The terms carried no date, and the only exit charge on the annual plan billed monthly was 50% of your remaining contract obligation.
• Now: The US terms carry an effective date of August 1, 2026. The 50% charge stands, and a new paragraph sets 30% of the annual commitment for customers in California.

Changed Current: Referral reward amount

Current's referral terms effective June 18, 2026 pay a new user $50 instead of $100 when the account whose link they use is under 61 days old and has no $200 payroll deposit.

• Before: A flat $100 for $200 of eligible payroll deposits within 45 days, under terms effective September 18, 2025.
• Now: $100, or $50 when the account whose link you use was opened less than 61 days before the referral and has not received an Eligible Payroll Deposit of $200 or more. Still $200 of recurring payroll within 45 days.

OpenAI's pricing page now lists unlimited text chats on the Free plan with GPT-5.6 Luna, subject to abuse guardrails; uploads, images, voice and deep research stay Limited.

Changed CIT Bank: promo code, boost size and end date

CIT Bank replaced its CITBOOST savings boost with BOOST50: 0.50% APY extra for six months instead of 0.35%, open until December 15, 2026, and anyone who took an earlier APY Boost is now excluded.

• Before: Promo code CITBOOST added 0.35% APY to Platinum Savings for 6 months: 4.10% on $5,000 or more and 0.60% below. Promotion February 13, 2026 to October 31, 2026.

Changed Strike: the referral rules page and when your fee-free trading starts

Strike moved its referral rules to a new support article. Your fee-free trading now starts once you verify your account, not after a first bitcoin purchase, and the $100 rate and the UK exclusion now apply when either account is outside the US and Europe or in the UK.

• Before: strike.me/en/faq/what-is-the-strike-referral-program/ (read July 26, 2026): $500 of fee-free trading in the US and Europe (EUR 500 if you join from Europe) after your first bitcoin purchase; $100 in other supported countries; no programme for users in the UK. New rule Navy Federal Credit Union: new member checking bonus

Navy Federal has a live checking bonus again: $400 for new members who join with code CHK26SRC by December 31, 2026. Joining by phone now counts.

• Before: No live bonus. The $200 offer (code CHK26MJ) closed 6/30/2026 and the $250 offer (code AM250CHK) closed 7/31/2026, as read September 18, 2026.
• Now: $400 for joining online, in branch or by phone with code CHK26SRC between 10/1/2026 and 12/31/2026, opening checking as primary owner by 12/31/2026 and completing qualifying direct deposit by 4/30/2027. Paid into the Membership Savings Account by 7/30/2027. Existing members are excluded.

Changed Chase: offer expiry date

Chase extended its $400 Total Checking offer from October 14, 2026 to January 27, 2027; the $1,000 of direct deposits within 90 days of enrollment and the 15-day payout are unchanged.

Changed Rakuten: $50 referral offer period

Rakuten printed a new $50 offer period in its referral terms, running from October 1 to December 31, 2026, after the July to September period lapsed; the bar is still $50 of qualifying purchases within 90 days of joining.

• Before: The printed period ran from 12:00 AM PT July 1, 2026 to 11:59 PM PT September 30, 2026, and on October 1 no new period had been printed.
• Now: “during the period beginning 12:00 AM PT October 1, 2026 and ending 11:59 PM PT December 31, 2026”. Still $50, with $50 of qualifying purchases within 90 days of signing up.

Changed Peloton: which machines get $600 off

Peloton's referral table added three machines, and the $600 discount is no longer the Tread+ alone: the Tread+ Vision gets it too.

• Before: US discounts on seven machines; $600 on the Cross-Training Tread+ only.
• Now: Three machines added in the US: Tread Flex $200, Tread Vision $500, Tread+ Vision $600. The caps are unchanged at $600 / $750 CAD / £350 / AU$700.

Changed Walmart+: free delivery minimum

Walmart+ Terms dated September 28 keep the $35 minimum only for deliveries where you pick a time slot; below $35 Walmart charges a below-order-minimum fee, and deliveries without a slot are free with no minimum.

• Before: Free delivery from your store for orders $35 and over, when you select a delivery time slot.
• Now: Scheduled orders need at least $35 or a below-order-minimum fee applies; members get free unscheduled delivery and avoid that fee on orders under $35.

Changed Bilt Mastercard: offer terms date and the card-switch rule

Bilt's offer terms now say Last Updated Aug 28, 2026 and drop the Product Changes section; switching Bilt cards now means the Welcome Bonus difference is deducted or adjusted, and the annual fee difference may be refunded.

• Before: Last Updated: September 18, 2026; a downgrade within 30 days of the annual fee posting reverses the prior card's bonus, which may result in a negative Bilt Cash or point balance.

The variable APR after the 0% intro period rose a quarter point as the Prime Rate reference moved from 6.75% to 7.0%; the $200 bonus is unchanged.

foldapp.com/rewards now shows Fold's bitcoin credit card page rather than the debit card rewards; the homepage still offers the Visa debit card that earns bitcoin, and the $10 sign-up figure is unchanged.

Changed Spectrum: the Refer a Friend help article

Spectrum's Refer a Friend help article, the only place its residential referral rules were written down, returned Page Not Found on October 2, 2026; we found no replacement on spectrum.net, so the $50 first-bill credit can no longer be confirmed.

• Before: spectrum.net/support/internet/refer-friend set out the programme: $50 credit toward the new customer's first bill after activation, through a customer's personal link, excluding Money Back Guarantee customers (read September 25, 2026).
• Now: The address returns “Page Not Found” (“We're sorry, we couldn't find this page. We may have moved it, or you might have a typo in your web address.”). A search of spectrum.net on October 2 turned up only the Spectrum Business referral programme.

Moved AG1: where the referral rules are written

AG1's membership page became the 1 Club loyalty FAQ and lost its referral FAQ, its 90-day refund FAQ and the expired 20% banner; the Refer-a-Friend terms, last updated October 1, 2026, name no reward for the new customer.

• Before: drinkag1.com/ag1-membership carried a referral FAQ: “The program allows you to give your friends a $15 credit”, plus the 90-day refund promise and the BACK2ROUTINE 20% banner.
• Now: The same address opens “The 1 Club is our free loyalty program for members with an active subscription.” The referral rules now live only in the Refer-a-Friend terms, which name no reward for the new customer.

Changed Microsoft Rewards: the Microsoft Services Agreement version and the redemption cap

Microsoft published a new Services Agreement, dated July 30, 2026 and effective September 30, 2026; the yearly redemption cap is now split, 550,000 points on third-party rewards and 1,550,000 on Microsoft's own products. The Rewards clauses this page quotes are unchanged.

• Before: The 2025 agreement with a single 550,000-point yearly redemption cap.
• Now: “Published: July 30, 2026 / Effective: September 30, 2026”: no more than 550,000 points per calendar year on third-party partner rewards and no more than 1,550,000 on Microsoft's own products and services.

Changed Rakuten: the $50 promotion's printed end date

The offer period Rakuten printed for its $50 referral bonus ended on September 30, 2026. On October 1 its terms still showed that expired period and no new one, while the sign-up page behind a referral link still showed $50 for $50 of purchases. Rakuten says a new member gets the bonus available on the day of sign-up, so read the figure on the sign-up page before you join.

• Before: $50 for sign-ups in a period “beginning 12:00 AM PT July 1, 2026 and ending 11:59 PM PT September 30, 2026”.
• Now: The same sentence, unchanged and now expired, in the terms. On the sign-up page: “Your friend invites you to join and get a $50 bonus when you spend $50.” No end date is printed there.

Changed Huntington: apply-by date

Huntington moved the apply-by date on its $400 and $600 checking bonuses from September 30, 2026 to January 15, 2027. Nothing else in the offer moved.

• Now: “Open a new Huntington Perks Checking account with your promotion code by January 15, 2027.”

Ended Bank of America: checking bonus

The employee banking offer of $100 to $500, the only Bank of America checking bonus page we could load, expired on September 30, 2026 by its own terms. On October 1 the page was still up with the same date and no new one, and Bank of America's public offer address says the offer is no longer available. If the bank posts a new date, it will be on that page.

• Before: $100 for 20 debit card or Zelle transactions, or $100, $300 or $500 by direct deposit tier, for accounts opened through the offer page by September 30, 2026.
• Now: “Offer expires on September 30, 2026.” was still printed on October 1, 2026, with no new date. The public offer address answers: “Sorry, the offer you're looking for is no longer available.”

Changed Fifth Third Bank: offer end date and footnote

Fifth Third moved the end of its $300 checking bonus from September 30, 2026 to January 4, 2027. The fine-print footnote, which was missing from the copy we read in September, was readable on October 1 and is stricter than the FAQ above it: the 13 month lookback covers any Fifth Third deposit account, not only checking.

• Before: “Offer expires September 30, 2026.” We described the lookback as the FAQ words it: any ownership in a Fifth Third checking account, open or closed within the last 13 months.
• Now: “Offer expires January 4, 2027.” The footnote: “Offer is only available for new customers who do not have any ownership in an existing Fifth Third deposit account or a Fifth Third deposit account that closed within the last 13 months.”

Changed TD Bank: offer end date

TD Bank moved the end of its $200 and $300 checking bonuses, and the $200 savings bonus, from September 30, 2026 to November 30, 2026. The amounts and requirements are the same.

• Now: “Offer valid through November 30, 2026 and is available only when opening through a qualifying website and who qualify as outlined below.”

Ended AG1: sitewide 20% code

AG1's public code BACK2ROUTINE, an additional 20% off a first subscription order, ended on Sept 30. The home page dropped the banner; the membership page was still showing it on October 1 with its ENDS SEPT 30 label. No public discount has replaced it. What a new customer can still get is a $15 credit through a member's Refer a Friend link.

• Before: “Save an additional 20% on your first subscription order” with code BACK2ROUTINE, no invitation needed, ending Sept 30.
• Now: “The program allows you to give your friends a $15 credit”, through a member's link only. This site carries no AG1 link.

Went down Greenlight: reward to the joining family

Greenlight's September boost, $50 to a family joining through a friend's link, ended at 11:59 p.m. Eastern on September 30, 2026. We found no October boosted terms. Greenlight's own offer page called $30 the normal figure, and its standing terms pay whatever is advertised when the link is shared, so check the figure on the page your friend's link opens.

• Before: $50 to the joining family for accounts completed by September 30, 2026, under the September boosted terms.
• Now: “Limited time: Earn $50 (normally $30) when you join Greenlight. Ends 9/30/26.” was still on the September offer page on October 1, 2026. The live $30 page says “$30 is within reach!”

Changed Boost Mobile: referral credit bump

Boost Mobile extended its larger referral credit. The bump that was printed to end on September 30, 2026 now covers friends who activate by October 15, 2026: $30 instead of $20, and $15 instead of $10.

• Before: $30 instead of $20 and $15 instead of $10 for friend activations between September 1 and September 30, 2026.
• Now: “This is a limited-time offer, valid for friend activation occurring between September 1, 2026 and October 15, 2026.”

Went down SoFi: bank referral bonus to the new customer

SoFi rewrote its Bank Referral Program for October 1 to October 21, 2026.
