Examined Oct 3, 2026 $15 on AG1's page Not in the referral terms Public 20% code ended Sept 30 No link we may carry

A member's AG1 referral link gets you $15, by AG1's own membership page. The referral terms name no reward for you, and the order starts a subscription that renews until you cancel.

Worth it ifa member you know offers their link and you meant to start AG1 anyway. AG1's membership page now prints $15 for you, a real cut on a subscription AG1 listed from $79 a month on October 1. But the figure sits on a card, not in the terms, so confirm it in the checkout total, and pick your cancel date before you pay: the subscription renews at the price then in effect until you stop it.

$15for a new customer through a member's Refer a Friend link, by the card on AG1's membership page; the referral terms name no reward for you

On October 3, 2026 AG1's 1 Club membership page carried a Refer a Friend card that read “Give $15…” The $15 it gives goes to the friend who joins through a member's link. The card names no condition: no first order, subscription or minimum spend. The Refer-a-Friend terms, last updated October 1, 2026, still name no reward for the new customer, so the $15 rests on AG1's page, not on a written term. You need a friend who is already a member: this site carries no AG1 link and may not. The public 20% code ended on Sept 30, and on October 1 no new sitewide promotion had replaced it.

The discount buys the first order of a subscription that keeps going. AG1's membership page said on October 1 that a subscription delivers every 30 days unless you change the schedule. Its terms say the payment method is charged the amount then in effect for each period, and: “YOU MAY CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AT ANY TIME. TO AVOID A RECURRING CHARGE YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION BY THE LAST DAY OF YOUR BILLING PERIOD.” Cancellations take effect on the last day of the billing period. If you only want to try it once, decide the cancel date before you pay.

What ended on Sept 30

The public 20% code, now over. Until Sept 30, 2026, a banner across AG1's site offered anyone an additional 20% off a first subscription order with the code BACK2ROUTINE, no referral needed. On September 25 it ran across the top of AG1's membership page, its Refer a Friend page, its affiliate terms and its Terms and Conditions. It read ENDS SEPT 30, then “Save an additional 20% on your first subscription order”, then the code. While it lasted, the arithmetic was simple: $15 is 20% of $75, so on any first order above $75 the code was worth more than the $15 credit AG1's membership FAQ then named. On October 1, 2026 the banner was gone from AG1's home page, whose top strip now introduces AG1 Pro. AG1's membership page was still showing the old banner that day, ENDS SEPT 30 label and all, after its own date had passed.

The banner's footnote. The banner's two asterisks point to a footnote. On September 25 we found it on none of the pages we saved. On October 1, 2026 both AG1's home page and its membership page printed notes marked with two asterisks at the bottom, among them “Limited time offer for new AG1 Next Gen and AG1 Pro subscriptions only.” The membership page added another that begins “Offer valid for new subscribers only.” None of these notes names the code, so we cannot say which one belonged to the banner.

Do this, in this order

  1. Find a friend who is already a member. AG1's membership page says their Refer a Friend link gives you $15. This page has no AG1 link to give you, because AG1's terms do not let a site like ours carry one.
  2. Click their link before you buy anything. A referral counts only if you are a new customer with no prior purchases who arrives by clicking the link, and AG1 says it will not accept referrals over phone, email, chat, or any other means of communication. One referral code per order.
  3. Look for the $15 in the checkout total before you pay. The figure comes from a card on AG1's membership page. The referral terms name no reward for you, and the card names no condition such as a first order or a minimum, so if the order summary does not show it, you have no written term to point to. Do not count on the old 20% code either: it ended Sept 30 by its own banner, even though AG1's membership page was still showing that banner on October 1.
  4. Know your three ways out. The terms name the online member portal, an email to support@drinkag1.com, or a call to 1-888-390-4029, all by the last day of your billing period.
  5. If you want your money back, start within 90 days and keep the product. The terms offer a refund on your first order of each product within 90 days, by email with your name, order number, purchase date, address and bank details. “You must return the product to us in order to get a refund.” The refund is transferred within 6 weeks after AG1 receives it.

Where AG1's pages disagree, and what they do not publish

What the link is worth to you. On October 1, 2026 AG1's membership FAQ said: “The program allows you to give your friends a $15 credit”. By October 2 that FAQ had come down, and AG1's Refer a Friend campaign page showed only its sign-up widget, no amount, and the description “Refer a friend and you both get a discount.” On October 3 the membership page named the figure again, on a Refer a Friend card: “Give $15…” The Refer-a-Friend terms, last updated October 1, 2026, have not followed. They name no reward for the new customer, and the only dollar amount in them is not yours. So AG1's own page puts $15 on your side of the link, and its terms put nothing there.

The full refund, or not quite. The membership FAQ said on October 1 (it has since been taken down): “If you're not satisfied with your first order, contact us within 90 days and we'll refund the full purchase price.” The Terms and Conditions, last updated October 1, 2026, require the product back and add: “Please note that the shipping costs cannot be refunded to you.” Go by the terms: return it, and expect to lose the shipping.

Prices. On September 25 no page we read showed what AG1 costs. On October 1, 2026 AG1's home page listed AG1 Next Gen from $79/mo and AG1 Pro from $99/mo, against $99 and $119 marked “Value of one-time purchase”. The terms say the subscription charges the amount then in effect and that AG1 may prospectively change prices.

The referral page itself. On September 25, AG1's Refer a Friend page showed us only this: “Having trouble seeing this page or retrieving your referral link? Please disable your ad-blocker or whitelist our site and refresh the page.” The program's rules are in the Terms and Conditions instead. They say eligibility is limited to individuals in the US only, and elsewhere that referred customers must be using the USA/CAN/AUS checkout system.

Is it worth your time?

Yes, if you already meant to start AG1 and a friend who is a member offers their link. The click costs you nothing, and $15 is a real cut on a first month AG1 listed from $79. Two things keep it from a plain yes. The $15 is on a page that dropped the figure on October 2 and put it back on October 3, not in the terms. And the order starts a subscription, so check the $15 in the order total and set the reminder to cancel before you finish checkout, not after the second delivery arrives.

If you are only curious, $15 off the first box of a repeating order is not a reason to start one. And if you know no member, we found no public discount on October 1: the 20% code has ended and nothing has replaced it.

If you refer. The same card's full line is “Give $15, Get $15.” Under the terms, the member's side is a single-use $15 code once the friend completes a first purchase, up to 14 a year.
