Webflow pays a new customer nothing for signing up through a link, and an annual plan cannot be refunded once 14 days have passed.
Webflow's link program is for creators, not customers. Nothing on the pages we read lowers your price when you arrive through an affiliate's link.
What you pay
| You, on Starter, with or without a link | Free, no reward |
|---|---|
| Basic or Premium site plan | $15 or $25 a month, billed yearly |
| Team platform plan | $2,500 a month, annual contract |
| New plan, monthly or annual, cancelled with a refund request within 14 days | Full refund, under the Refund Policy |
| Annual plan cancelled after 14 days, or any renewal | No refund, no credit for unused time |
There will be no refunds or credits for partial terms of service, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for unused terms with an active Account.
Do this, in this order
- Drop the code hunt. A Webflow affiliate link does not change what you pay. The affiliate help article's own sample post reads “25% off Site Plan at www.webflow.com/affiliate123”, but no Webflow page we read tells a customer that such a discount exists or how to claim it.
- Build on Starter until you need more. It is free, on a webflow.io domain, with 2 static pages, 1 GB bandwidth and 50 form submissions. The Terms of Service say: “Free accounts are not required to provide payment account information.”
- Upgrade knowing the charge is immediate. “We will immediately bill you upon any upgrade from a free plan to any paid plan.” On an annual plan that is the whole year, and taxes are stated separately from the fee.
- Pay in U.S. dollars if you can. Webflow's processor charges in U.S. dollars; if you pay in another currency and later get a refund, the Terms say the amount may differ and Webflow cannot adjust it.
- Cancel before the anniversary. Annual plans renew for another year and are charged on each anniversary unless you cancel before the current term ends. You cancel by downgrading to Starter from the plans section of your dashboard. Webflow can also change fees for a renewal after notice by email or on its website.
Where Webflow's documents disagree, and what they leave out
Two refund rules that do not match. The Terms of Service send refund requests on monthly plans to “Webflow’s Billing and Refund Policy as updated by Webflow from time to time.” The link behind those words still leads to a Not Found page, but Webflow's help center carries a Refund Policy, “Policy last updated: September 2026”. It says: “New Site and Workspace plan purchases are fully refundable if you cancel and request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase date. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.” That is kinder than the Terms, which still call an annual plan non-refundable. After the 14 days both agree: “Plan renewals are non-refundable.” and “Cancelling doesn't trigger a refund for the current cycle.” Add-ons, seats, Marketplace purchases, AI Credits and bandwidth auto-upgrades are listed as not refundable. If you want the 14-day refund, ask in writing inside the window and keep the reply.
Dates and monthly prices. The Terms of Service carry “Effective date: November 15, 2023”. The affiliate terms page showed no date. The pricing page has a monthly toggle, and we quote only the yearly-billed figures we saved. No end date is printed for the Affiliate Program.
Is it worth your time?
Not as a bonus, because there is none. Judge Webflow as a product, and use the free Starter plan to do it: two static pages on a webflow.io address is enough to learn the Designer before you spend anything.
When you do pay, the annual price is the one the pricing page leads with, and after 14 days it is the one with no way back. If you are not sure the site will outlive the year, pay monthly, or put the 14th day after purchase in your calendar: that is the last day Webflow's Refund Policy gives you to cancel and ask for the $180 back.
