Claude Examined Jul 27, 2026 No discount code exists Coupon pages are selling nothing

No, Claude has no discount code, and Anthropic writes that down itself.

No code exists$17/mo on annual billingSupport cannot issue oneExamined Jul 27
None No Claude discount code, promo code, coupon or referral reward exists. Anthropic states it, in writing, in two help articles.

"We do not offer standard discounted pricing any of our paid plans, including Pro plans." The Max article repeats it for Max 5x and 20x. Both close with: "Our Support team cannot issue one-off discounts or coupons."

This page earns us nothing. No Anthropic affiliate program exists, so no site can be paid for sending you to Claude. Every "Claude promo code" page you opened today is monetising something else: ads, a different product, or your click on a button that reveals a plain link.

Anthropic answered this itself

The Pro and Max help articles each carry a section headed "How can I get a free or discounted Pro plan?", quoted here in full.

Standard discount"We do not offer standard discounted pricing any of our paid plans, including Pro plans."
Cheaper means free"anyone in a supported location can access the free version of Claude by navigating to claude.ai and signing up using an email address."
Promotions"we don’t have any standing discounts available upon request."

Four real price reductions, none of them a code

Annual billing on Pro$17 a month, $200 up front
Pro billed monthly$20 per month
Nonprofit pricing, Team plan$8 per user per month
Nonprofit pricing, Enterprise plan$10 per user per month
Usage bundles10% at $50, 20% at $250, 30% at $1000
Education plan for a university"discounted rates", figure unpublished
A discount code from any coupon siteDoes not exist
  1. Annual billing. "$17" a month "with annual subscription discount ( $200 billed up front). $20 if billed monthly." A toggle, not a code, worth roughly forty dollars a year. The cost: the whole year leaves your account today, non-refundable, and it renews for another full term unless you cancel at least 24 hours early.
  2. Nonprofit pricing. "Team plan: $8/user/month" and "Enterprise plan: $10/user/month", minimum 2 seats for teams under 150. Eligible: "501(c)(3) organizations, K–12 schools, and qualifying healthcare organizations". Excluded: "Government agencies, political campaigns, higher education institutions, and healthcare systems". Verified "through our partner Goodstack". Not for individuals: orgs under five employees pay "$20/month" per person like everyone else.
  3. Usage bundles. $50 for $45, $250 for $200, $1000 for $700, up to 30% off. "The discount is applied automatically at checkout."
  4. Education plan. "Comprehensive access for all university members at discounted rates". No figure published, and the university buys it, not the student.
  • Team seat, per user per month, once Goodstack has verified the nonprofit$8
  • Pro billed monthly, per person, what an org under five employees pays like everyone else$20

Both figures are Anthropic’s own, from the nonprofit tutorial: the verified nonprofit rate on a Team seat, and the ordinary monthly price a person pays without that verification.

A coupon system exists. You're probably locked out of it

"Coupons and promotions are generally only available to users trying out a paid plan for the first time." An error means "you are ineligible for the promotion due to being either an active paid subscriber or having been a paid subscriber in the past." "App Store subscribers (iOS or Android) are unable to take advantage of promotions at this time."

A code advertised as working for existing subscribers contradicts the only rule the system has. The most recent real promotion doubled usage limits for existing Pro and Max subscribers over the holidays, at "no additional charge", and "cannot be combined with other offers or promotions".

The one Claude referral link that ever existed

May 22, 2025, 9am ET Claude 4 Invite Sweepstakes opens. Logged-in users get "your unique referral link" at claude.ai/invite.
Through June 4, 2025, 9am ET Each new sign-up who sent a message earns one entry, capped at 100.
5 winners every day for 10 days Prize: "Four month subscription to Claude Max 5x Plan (approximate value: $400)." Not cash. Florida, New York and Rhode Island excluded.

"NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN." A sweepstakes, not a referral program, closed more than a year before this page. Everything else you have read about a Claude referral link is a reconstruction of it.

Six tests that expose a fabricated code

  1. Check the brand's own domain. We fetched anthropic.com/affiliates, /promo, /coupon, /discount and /students on July 27, 2026. All five: 404.
  2. Ask who pays the page. No affiliate programme means no commission is possible on Claude.
  3. Look for a start and end date. Real promotions are bounded; a code with no dates isn't describing one.
  4. Test eligibility against the stated rule. First-time paid users only, App Store excluded. A code that "works for all accounts" contradicts the vendor's own terms.
  5. Distrust any advice to contact support with a code. "Our Support team cannot issue one-off discounts or coupons" is published in two separate articles.
  6. Notice whether it needs you at all. Real reductions apply themselves: bundles "applied automatically at checkout", annual billing is a toggle, nonprofit follows a Goodstack check.
Anthropic’s own answer on discountsThe Pro plan article, where "no standing discounts available upon request" is published.
See the current pricesFree at $0, Pro at $17 annual or $20 monthly, Max from $100.
What we won't guess. claude.ai returns HTTP 403 to an automated fetch, so we can't say whether checkout shows a code field; we didn't work around it. No Education plan price is published, so none appears here. Gift subscriptions aren't a discount either way: bought at plan price, expiring "365 days after the purchase date", and recipients "cannot redeem multiple gifts at one time or stack redemptions".

Common questions

Is there a working Claude promo code?

No. Anthropic offers no standard discounted pricing, and support "cannot issue one-off discounts or coupons".

Does Claude pay you for referring a friend?

No. The only referral link belonged to a sweepstakes that closed in June 2025 and paid prize entries, not cash. Nothing replaced it.

Is it worth your time?

Stopping the search is. The price you see is the price, annual billing is the only lever you personally hold, and the free plan is genuinely free. Nonprofits should spend the ten minutes on Goodstack verification instead: $8 against $20 a head adds up fast.
