38 offersAlmost nothing in this category pays dollars. Bonuses arrive in bitcoin, in an exchange's own token, or as a discount at a hardware-wallet checkout, and a token reward can be worth meaningfully less by the time it unlocks. Every entry says exactly which asset would land in your account.
Geography is the second filter. New York sits outside several of these programs, and some exchanges exclude a dozen or more states outright, so each guide lists its exclusions above the buttons. Safety is the third, and it deserves its own reading before five figures move anywhere: our examination of Nexo is the worked example.
This is also where referral programs go to die quietly. Exodus ended its program, Swan retired its own, Blockchain.com paused, and coupon sites still advertise all three. We mark a program ended the day the provider does, and the full list lives on the dead programs page. One more habit of this category: several wallet referral programs pay the buyer nothing at all, because they are promoter commissions, and each guide says so plainly.
The recurring trap here: volatile-token payouts and state exclusions.
