How to read this list
Two things decide this category: the bonus and the calendar. The money is usually real cash, but it rides payout schedules measured in months. Rakuten, the best-known name here, pays out four times a year, and a balance under its minimum simply rolls into the next quarter.
Read the bar carefully, because it is usually earned rather than spent. TopCashback's threshold is $10 of cash back you have actually earned, not $10 pushed through a checkout, and purchases sit pending for weeks while retailers confirm them.
Two quieter leaks: inactivity fees that eat a small balance, and store exclusions. On Rakuten, Amazon purchases do not count toward qualifying at all, and Ibotta charges $3.99 every 30 days once an account has sat idle for 180 days. The row for each offer names its own version of both.
