How to read this list

Streaming services rarely pay anyone to join, and several have stopped offering a trial at all. What the fine print decides instead is what you pay after the first month, how long before the renewal you must cancel, and whether a month you have already been charged for comes back. Each guide answers those three from the service's own terms.

Read the plan names carefully. The trial, the student price and the family plan often sit on different pages with different rules, and the price you see signed out is not always the price a returning customer is shown.
