All offers / Crypto / Bitcoin Depot
Bitcoin Depot is in bankruptcy and its machines are switched off. Do not feed one your cash.
We keep this page up rather than deleting it because the bonus blogs have not. Search for a Bitcoin Depot promo code today and you will still be offered a tidy "$15 when you spend $150 within 90 days, plus $15 for a friend." Those numbers come from third-party deal blogs published in 2018 and 2019, and at least one of them already labels both the sign-up bonus and the referral as expired. Bitcoin Depot's own referral page now serves generic homepage content with no program on it at all, and its free-bitcoin page has gone.
What pays what
| The "$15 sign-up bonus" still listed on deal blogs | $0, expired since 2019 |
|---|---|
| The "$15 referral" for sending a friend | $0, expired since 2019 |
| The "up to $300" ATM-siting referral in Bitcoin Depot's own FAQ | No live business behind it |
| Cash put into a Bitcoin Depot kiosk today | The network is offline |
| A claim filed in the Chapter 11 case | Whatever the court process returns |
That $300 line is worth explaining, because it is the only referral Bitcoin Depot itself ever described on a current page: "Earn up to $300 per referral when you find a new location to host a Bitcoin Depot ATM." It was never a consumer bonus. It paid you for finding a shop willing to house a kiosk, and a company in an orderly wind-down is not installing kiosks.
Do this, in this order
- Do not put cash into a Bitcoin Depot machine, today or later. The network came down on May 18, 2026. Cash kiosks are the one category where a dead operator can still physically take your money, and there is no support desk left to call when the bitcoin does not arrive.
- Treat any Bitcoin Depot bonus you find online as an artifact. The $15 figures are 2018 and 2019 blog numbers, not company terms. If a site is confidently listing a live Bitcoin Depot promo in 2026, it has not looked at the company since before the bankruptcy.
- If you have money or bitcoin tied up, act through the bankruptcy, not the app. The Chapter 11 case is in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the restructuring is administered with Kroll as claims agent. Bitcoin Depot published a restructuring hotline on (844) 339-4117. Confirm that number on the company's own restructuring page before you call it, because a collapsed brand is exactly the kind of thing impostors use.
- Read your state regulator's alert if you are in one of the states that issued one. Louisiana's Office of Financial Institutions published a Bitcoin Depot consumer alert on July 6, 2026, confirming the bankruptcy filing and that the ATM network is offline. The Arkansas Securities Department published one on July 7, 2026, saying the company "has filed for bankruptcy and ceased operations," and that Arkansas consumers may be eligible for compensation. If you live elsewhere, your own state regulator is still the right first call.
- If what you actually wanted was crypto with a bonus attached, go to a company that is still trading.
Why this page has no buttons to Bitcoin Depot
Because there is nothing left to send you to. A referral link into a company in wind-down is the worst thing a site like this can publish, so there is none here and there never was.
Is it worth your time?
No, and the interesting part is why the question is still being asked. Bonus listings outlive the companies they describe, because nobody goes back to delete them. We have read a lot of expired offers, and this is the version that actually hurts people: a cash machine on a shop floor, a bonus figure with a 2018 birthday, and a company that told the court in May that its business model is unsustainable. If you came here to check whether a Bitcoin Depot code still works, the honest answer is that the code is the least of it. The machines are off. Keep your cash.
