Five months at $5 is $25 plus tax. The standard monthly fee is $14.99, so each promotional month is $9.99 cheaper ($14.99 minus $5). Panera's own footnotes value an eligible drink at an average price of $3.84. On that figure, two drinks a month cover the $5 (2 times $3.84 is $7.68), and four cover $14.99 (4 times $3.84 is $15.36). No referral and no code are involved: anyone who is new or lapsed can join.

From September 23, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. PT through 11:59 p.m. PT on December 31, 2026, new subscribers and lapsed subscribers who sign up for a monthly Sip Club subscription will receive five months of a Sip Club subscription for $5/month plus tax.
The promotion is “Not valid with any other coupon or offer.” Panera also says it may end the offer without notice for error, fraud, technical malfunction or other unusual or unexpected circumstances, and that “There is a limit of one Subscription per person and a Subscription cannot be shared.”
Do this, in this order
- Check you qualify. A new subscriber has never had Sip Club through any name, email address, address, or phone number. A lapsed one has had no active Sip Club beverage reward for more than 30 days. “Offer will be revoked if Panera determines, in its sole discretion, that person has another active Sip Club subscription.”
- Know what counts as a drink. Drip hot coffee, cafe blend iced coffee, hot tea, fountain soda and select bubbler drinks. Espresso and cappuccino drinks, specialty iced coffees, smoothies, frozen drinks, hot chocolate, Energy Refreshers and bottled drinks are excluded, and add-ons such as espresso shots, cold foam and syrups cost extra.
- Pace it. After each drink, the next one becomes available two hours after the order is picked up or delivered. Across a 30-day billing cycle, 30 drinks is one a day on average. The terms say: “Unused Beverage Reward Coupons are forfeited and will not be refunded or carried over to the next Redemption Period.” Catering, future-dated online orders and third-party delivery sites do not count.
- Decide before month six. Cancel in the Manage Subscription section at panerabread.com/SipClub, in the Panera app, or by calling 1-855-3-PANERA, at least 24 hours before the next cycle. You keep the drinks to the end of the paid cycle.
- Do not delete MyPanera to quit. The terms say declining MyPanera rewards or deleting the account terminates the subscription immediately, with no refund, and that such subscribers will no longer be eligible for promotions available to new or lapsed subscribers. Cancel the subscription instead.
Where Panera's own pages disagree
Unlimited, or 30. Under What's Included, the promotion page lists “Unlimited hot & iced coffee” and, beneath it, “One drink every 2 hours, every day.” The same page's headline says up to 30 drinks each month, and the Sip Club terms open with: “Effective August 19, 2026, there will be a maximum of 30 drink redemptions per Redemption Period.” The terms govern. Thirty is the number.
Panera says so itself. The terms carry this note: “NOTE: There may be previous Unlimited Sip Club logos displayed in a cafe or online during the transition to MyPanera+ Sip Club.” Panera's member FAQ describes the same change on August 19 to MyPanera+ Sip Club with up to 30 cups a month.
The savings headline assumes all 30. Panera's footnote for up to $100 in savings is 30 drinks at an average price of $3.84, less the $14.99 fee: 30 times $3.84 is $115.20, and minus $14.99 that is $100.21. Drink fewer and the saving shrinks with each one skipped. Panera may also change the price with at least 10 days' notice of the new amount and date.
Is it worth your time?
For someone who stops at Panera for a plain coffee or a soda even twice a month, the $5 months are an easy yes by Panera's own average price. Five months cost $25 plus tax in total, and the only effort is ordering through your MyPanera account.
The cost comes later. At $14.99 you need four eligible drinks every 30 days just to break even, and the subscription renews by itself. If you are not sure you will keep that up, cancel in month five and rejoin later only if you miss it.
