Examined Sep 25, 2026 No sign-up reward Fee is non-refundable

Target Circle 360 gives a new member nothing for joining: you pay $10.99 a month or $99 a year from the start, and the fee does not come back if you change your mind.

Think twiceif you came looking for a bonus or a trial, because the page offers neither. Judge it as a delivery membership: it pays off only if you order same-day delivery over $35 often enough to cover the fee, and if you already hold a Target Circle Card, two of its headline benefits are ones the card gives you already.

Nothingfor joining, on every Target page we read on September 25, 2026

The page sells the membership itself: free, fast shipping, same-day delivery, monthly freebies, early access to sales and 30 extra days for returns. It names two prices. The regular one is $10.99 a month or $99 a year. The lower one, $4.99 a month or $49 a year, is for verified teachers, military members, college students and government assistance recipients, and for Target Circle Card holders with the card saved to their Target account. There is no welcome credit, no free month on the page, and no referral program.

The fee is final once charged. The Terms say the cost is disclosed when you sign up and the fee is nonrefundable. They add: “To prevent the automatic renewal of your Target Circle 360 membership fee, you must cancel your membership before your membership is set to renew.” On the annual plan that means $99 committed on day one. If you only want to test it, the monthly plan limits what you can lose to $10.99.

What you pay

Regular member, monthly or annual$10.99 a month or $99 a year
Verified teacher, military member, college student or government assistance recipient$4.99 a month or $49 a year
Target Circle Card holder with the card saved to the Target account$4.99 a month or $49 a year
A discounted member who loses eligibility or removes the cardRenews at $10.99 or $99
A new member, for joining$0

Twelve months at $10.99 is $131.88, so a member who stays a year pays $32.88 less on the annual plan. The page says members save over $300 a year; its footnote calls that a potential saving, based on two same-day delivery orders a month at a $9.99 delivery fee each plus an annual Shipt membership at $99, and says actual savings will vary.

Do this, in this order

  1. If you hold a Target Circle Card, check what it already covers. The page's own footnotes give card purchases the fastest free shipping available and 30 additional days for returns, the same as a Target Circle 360 member. What the membership adds is same-day delivery on orders over $35, and the card cuts its price to $4.99 or $49.
  2. Pay with a card Target accepts. Only valid credit cards or the Target Debit Card; no other debit card. “Third-party installment plans (e.g., Affirm and PayPal® Pay in 4), PayPal® and Apple Pay® cannot be used to pay for Target Circle 360 memberships at this time.” A Target GiftCard can pay the first fee, but a credit card or Target Debit Card is still required for renewals.
  3. Know which card will be charged. If the renewal fails on your chosen card, Target says it will try another payment card in your Target.com account, and keeps using that one.
  4. Check the exclusions before relying on returns. The extra 30 days do not apply to Target Optical purchases, final sale items, contract mobile phones, or online purchases of SNAP-eligible items paid with EBT.
  5. Cancel before the renewal date. Use the Membership section of your Target.com account or call Target.com Guest Services at 1-800-591-3869. Cancelling Target Circle 360 does not cancel Target Circle or a Target Circle Card.
The membership fee for Target Circle 360 is non-refundable.

What Target does not publish

A date on the terms. The Target Circle 360 Terms carry no last-updated or effective date, and they say: “Target may update the Target Circle 360 Terms or make any changes to the Target App or to the Site at any time without notice.” Target will email you about changes to the cost of the membership.

A trial you can count on. The Terms tell anyone who was offered a free trial to cancel before it ends to avoid the fee, and say trial members may not get every benefit. The page itself offered no trial, and no length is printed anywhere we read.

A referral program. None appears. Target Partners, its affiliate program, is a business arrangement for websites, not a reward for members. The Terms also limit you to one membership per guest, for personal, family and household use only.

Is it worth your time?

As a sign-up offer, no: there is nothing to collect. As a membership, it depends on one habit. Target's footnote prices a same-day delivery at $9.99 without it; one order a month for twelve months is $119.88, more than the $99 annual fee, and at $49 it pays back sooner.

If you mostly want free shipping and longer returns, a Target Circle Card already gives you those two, according to the same page. Start monthly rather than annual, because nothing you pay is refunded, and put the renewal date in your calendar.
